What section of Scouts is for my Child?

Thinking of joining Scouts but don't know what section is the one for your child?

All the sections of Scouting are broken up into age groups so that your child can experience the appropriate level of challenge and adventure for their age group. For example the Cub Scouts might race wooden Cub Cars in a derby challenge but the Rover Scout section can build and race their own cars!

Joey Scouts: 5 to 8

Cub Scouts: 8 to 11

Scouts: 11 to 14.5

Venturer Scouts: 14.5 to 18

Rover Scouts: 18 to 26

Click on the links to see more about what we can offer to these Sections at this Group or click here to go to Scouts SA website for more information on each section.
